Hey Dan,
I have been working on a 9000 MBC+A kit for a little while now and still learning about the differences in placements of hings in the 9K. I believe your 9K has the IAC or AIC towards the front of the car where there is a long 90 degress hose coming off the TB to the AIC then a short hose going into the manifold. My understanding it that that hose can be tapped for boost pressure as it will see pressure when on boost and not disturb the idle when off boost.
I have souced Air Pressure regulators(APR) and other such parts, so i could help get you rolling. Go private and we can talk about the details.
The key is mounting the MBC and the APR in a locations away from the major heat source in the engie bay. A place that you can make adjustments to the MBC and APR initially and get at it reasonably easy. the second key is finding a good location for pressure tapped at the TB for better sustained boost at higher rpms. That is the beauty of the +A and requires the APR to deal with the overshoots that are caused by moveing the pressure tap farther away from the WG.
I have some pictures of a 9k that Im working off and was hoping to get a peak at a friends 9K Aero tonight but he's out of town. So maybe between the two of us, we can come up with some of those solutions together.
Give me a shout.
jeff
