Check the IC. You may have the Viggen IC already. If the turbo compressor discharge goes to under the battery and both the IC inlet and outlet are there together, thats the old restrictive IC <-- some had the silencer, some did not, a transtion that year.
If the turbo compressor discharge goes to the other side, away from the battery, you have the good IC now, and no turbo discharge in-pipe silencer to be removed.
Stock boost is way lower than 15 PSI. With a MBC or MBC+A, you can get a bit over 15 PSI with a stock ECU. A MBC+A, with complementry intake and exhaust mods, is a very fast machine! If you get the MBC+A and other mods done, then if you wanted more peak HP, you would have the vehicle ready to take advantage of the new ECU.
