There's not much to be done about it except learn to modulate the boost with yer foot and hope for faster, open courses. It's really easy to overdo it on the gas...
You can remove the front bar for more grip out of corners but, in my experience, the increase in body roll isn't worth it; I put mine back on. If you are not winning and/or competition is pretty friendly, feel free to play with boost; removing the APC solenoid wire will limit you quickly/easily. If you are winning, then doing so is illegal in Stock and will piss off your competitors (yes, *dropping* boost is illegal).
Generally speaking, the best thing you can do to the car is dial in more camber/caster & dial out toe. I have gone more aggressive than Jak's recommendations with no ill effect on tire wear or straight-line traction (tracking on highway is not optimal with no toe): -2 degrees camber, nearly +4 caster, and no toe. If you are *really* into it, and can d.i.y. your alignment, I have found that *tons* of camber--to the point of obviously diminished straightline traction--is very helpful. However, it's really impractical and somewhat unsafe for the street...
