With the hood (assuming time allowed), we are actually going with a CF hood that is louvered to extract the heat out of the engine bay. The louvers will be located just infront of the valve cover on the hood. In this way, the air has a cleaner entry and exit after flowing through the IC and radiator. A ram would actually compound the problem by providing another entry point into the engine bay.
