Conclusions on modifed outlet on Dawes style MBC

After a few different attempts, I have come up with the best modification of the Dawes style MBC. I posted a few days back that I was working on changing the outlet of the MBC to a larger orifice so that fitting the MBC to the Saab stock hoses woudn't be as much of an issue as they are currently with the Dawes Device.
Finally I have come up with the change that works the best. A 1/4" barb is used on the outlet as opposed to the standard barb being .17" and the inside of the valve is unchanged nor is the size of the hole leading to the outlet which seemed to affect the characteristics of how it reacted.
Testing between a normal dawes and the modifed dawes there is no change in spoolup time nor reaction time to open with the valve.
So now there is an alternative to the Dawes that reacts completely identical to the Dawes but doesn't have the problems with properly fitting to the stock hoses due to it being too small. Just thought I'd share the accomplishment.
I have not yet tested to see if one could modify an existing Dawes by tapping out the elbow and replace it with the larger one without negatively impacting the valve's characteristics or not. Maybe that will be next.
