there are always those guys around who don't like saabs, and there are always the guys around who downright insult saabs, and there are plenty of those guys around.

some kid in my school with his brand new mitsubishi 3000gt asked if i wanted to race. i've got an '88 spg, standard go fast stuff; K&N airfilter, aggresive apc box,rising rate fuel fuel pressure regulator, car is stiff and low, 3" exhaust turbo back, etc. wasn't really sure if i could take him.

raced on a long stretch of fairly straight highway in connecticut, from a 50 mile an hour start it was pretty even. He started to pull half a car length ahead so i dropped it down a gear and floored it just to get the upper hand. got about a full car length ahead and was gone. He stuck with me 'till about 130 then he dropped out. not sure if it was the car or the driver but the rice racer didn't do as well as i'd thought. a little boost in saabs reputation.

anyway sorry for babbling, real proud of my saab and finally got an opportunity to show it off.
