Does anyone know of a source for finding these "8" primary drive gears for a 89 900SPG. They were not used on US spec 900's as far as I know. The larger gear has 33 teeth and smaller has 24 teath for a ratio of .72.
Also what is the feed back. I really want to drop my RPM at freeway speed. Right now I get about 3500 at 80. Too much for a car with over 200HP. I realize this might sacrifice some low end power but I think it would make 2nd more useful. I have most of the standard mods on a totally rebuilt 900 turbo motor 2.1 head, o ringed block, ARP head studs, copper head gasket, lower compression 8.4:1 3.0 bar FPR, 24lb injectors.
the trans was rebuilt also but could not find these gears at the time.
