Prior to the install of any MBC, I noticed that I could reach into the red zone on the boost gauge if I had a car full of people where as when I drove alone, I could not touch it. So more people seem to have made more boost pressure, not more power, due to weight increases. With the MBC, and a full car, the conditions might be the same. Being that the MBC is dialed in higher than stock conditions, the added weight seems to affect the boost which being higher with more people means above fuel cut level.

With a car properly maintained with good plugs and proper gaps, techron used to ensure good injector spray pattern, intake and exhaust mods, etc...I have heard of the fluxuations with folks with the double pass IC. It seems as if the IC can't keep up with the added boost in the heat season.

How old is the DI cassette?
Plug gaps good? - What plugs are being used?
