I want to install lowering spring on my car and wanted to know what Viggen owner's are using and how did the driving/handling characteristics change vs. stock given the brand you used? I drove Jake's Viggen with B&G's which seemed ok but lowered a bit more than I wanted given I drive from Toronto to Oshawa as a commute (including winter's) and go up/down many ramps and didn't want to scrape and I don't know what change Eibach's would do to a Viggen wrt handling.
Also - would 235/45/17's rub on an lowered car - if so what brand of spring did you use and under what circumstances did it rub? I saw officeboy post the following on 235/45/17 rubbing but don't know what springs he used and if that would make a difference given B&G's lower 0.5" more than Eibach's - these would go on OEM Viggen wheels (wheel too soft to risk going for 235/40/17 and I want more lateral than 225/45/17):
Officeboy: "Just a bit in the rear. Where the fender lip kinda sticks in, it would cut thin little flaps into the edges of my tire tread. You could probably fix it by rolling the fender lip up a bit."
Thanks and Salud!
