the reason for continued development is to help others with their cars
these systems are pretty sensative adjusting boost & timing has a pretty strong efect on the AF ratios
Im running stock 31.5 LB hr volvo injectors & a 3barfpr with the volvo AMM & ECU
allot of the tuning has to do with keeping the ECU from hitting 100% injector on time too erly & getting it to acurately modulate pw frequency to the injectors corectly
the fuel maps in LH arent conservative they just arent maped to run larger injectors & tend to hit 100% injector in time too erly to be of use to verry much more than a stock setup but can be made to work well with a lil TLC :-)
you can not tune an ECU to suport more HP with stock injectors than the HP that the injectors will suport at 100% on time (hp suported is dictated by injector size) corecting the maps makes it so that AF ratios are proper thruout load & RPM variables which actualy makes more HP by not wasting or not aplying enough fuel durring WOT (keeping it as even & predictable) as possible
there is allot to take into acount Ive found on my car that cranking up the boost 3 or 4 lbs will bring my AF ratios from a nice 11.5ish:1 to `10:1 or richer especially at max boost & high on the AMM v this has more to do with a standard fpr cranking up the FP thus increasing injector flow mechanicaly than it does with the map tables but needs to be adjusted with the map tables
this doesent have much good to say for rrfprs or one size fits all chips
updates are easy to make for people as long as a tuner is provided with load RPM & AF ratios after changes to the car have been made
copying other tuners chips is completeley un ethical anyone asking for your chips to "improve on" is probably just gona copy them & sell the program to someone else screwing some tuner out of years of work & not allowing the tuner to make back the thousands of dollars in equipment & software invested in to produce the chip to begin with
excuse the tyrade
take care
