About a month or so ago I drove my '01 SE w/64,000 miles from Houston to Greenville, SC and then on up to Lancaster, PA and then back and everything was fine.
Yours has a few more years and miles but if you've taken care of it I don't see mechanically why not--but you can never know for sure.
So, what's the worst that can happen?
Make sure your AAA membership is up to date (preferebly gold w/100 miles of free towing), consider the worst case scenerio where you do have a major break-down and are at the mercy of a dishonest repair shop for a few days, then decide if the risk/time is acceptable or not. Take a fire extinguisher and don't get in an accident.
The reality is that if something terrible-bad happens, you may be far enough away and disadvantaged enough that the transportation/repair costs are more than your Saab is worth.
