I bought an eprom emulator a couple of months ago & it was defective & it took for ever to get the replacement here
I must say that the wait was well worth it
today I plugged the emulator into the board in my ECU the other end into my laptop & viola I can drive my car like stand alone with the datalogger on I can make changes to the maps & watch the efect with the datalogger all in real time while running
the hardest part is figuring out what is where & infact that is so hard that is preciseley what I am not willing to give up (its a secret)
what this allows me to do is take any car & within a few hours sort out & change fuel maps & whatnot in order to fine tune fuel systems/timing curves/boost maps.
I must say Im verry happy
the sad part is the cost of tuning equipment :-( this has been a huge investment
chris was kind enough to donate his old aero wheels (I think he wants my car to look as fast as it is)
I have to thank josh a friend of chris snipes who saw the old piece of junk laptop I was using & gave me a way better one to suport the go fast cause!
