Everything will still function. Jak can explain this much better, but what happens is your telling the computer to add, subtract fuel and timing at certain rpms. You are also able to change injector pulse rates to coincide with the mods on your car. There is much more that goes into this, and this takes a lot of time to get right. Jak is the man-he will set you staight.
