that may be re: textar. I could not tell by the box as it was all German. the bads I installed were made in germany, but I think the rears were made in England. anyway, below is a good link on bedding them in. it makes quite a difference in pedal feel
As noted in the instrructions, I have a nice grey haze on the friction surface and the rotor hats and other not friction surface turned a nice tinted purple/gold, almost heat treated. Has worked well for the last few sets I've had on my cars. It can be done periodically to get rid of so-called 'warpage' which sometimes can be attributed to uneven amounts of material on hte friction surface.
