Hello-
Took my Z to the dragstrip for the first time for a heads up night (pay money and run as much as you want).
I was a little thrown off by the tree, all three yellows blinked quickly and then went green. When I had done JR. Drag racers, it went yellow, yellow, yellow...go (going on the last yellow...if you saw green it was too late) so this was a different experience.
My rt were as follows, .982, .789, .685, .688, and .625...I always had the lowest RT against those I lined up against but wasn't sure what is good.
The best I ended up running was a 14.9, I figure with more practice, a LSD 3.73. gear and better tuning of the SU's (not so good at that yet) I can get it down to low 14's. Not fast but definetly fun. The car works so much better on autox courses than on a straight strip.
Oh...also not fun when the throttle gets stuck on WOT...good thing I have toggle switches for the fuel pump and the ignition. ;-)
Unfortunatly someone blew up a NG900 out there, not sure what happend just saw A LOT of oil, didn't get to talk to the guy.
Thanks for advice.
Chris
