Hi Nóni, we did the same thing a while back on a 1990 Classic 900T. If I remember correctly I had to take .070" off of the flywheel face to make it come out the same overall as the original 228mm clutch and flywheel. The '91-'92 9000T 238mm clutch must require a bunch more room because these flywheels are 28mm from the crank flange to the friction surface where your original '87 9000T flywheel is 31mm. You would think that this 3mm's would make up the difference but it must not. I have both flywheel and clutch combinations at our shop where I'll be tomorrow so I'll measure both and email you the magic number when I get back tomorrow night. Take care, Dave
