closes the intake valve about 12 degrees sooner than the turbo increasing the effective stroke (bsicaly advancing the cam timing) which gives a lil more pull down low for spool up you should read the #s off of it I have several here mabey you swapped a turbo intake for a turbo intake cam?
the 85 exhaust cam opens 6 degrees later which eliminates several degrees overlap basicaly retarding the exhaust cam timing making more power under boost
the guy at the dyno said they had a supra that made an extra 30 WHP just by retarding the exhaust cam timing without making any other changes to the car at all I have a friend machinist that Im going to have make me an adjustable cam gear :-)
