Hi there,
promised to tell you the result if my latest investment!
Yes, I got the rear Koni`s (yellow ones) installed in my 99 Viggen with 97.000km on the clock. Same time I replaced the poly bushings in the front, which I bought a year ago at GenuineSaab (they got lost in the trunk :-)!
Result: Not bad! I mean the original settings of the Viggen is not bad at all, but after a couple of thousand miles it was time to change the rear ones. Handling is better, long and fast bends on the highway feel saver now and when you suddenly brake in a curve, you don´t get the feeling that the rear tail wants to overtake you! Roads are wet at the moment and the beast gets funny to drive again in the cold seasons! Steering improves, but torque steer is not totally reduced (which I don´t mind!)
There is still some rolling in the back, which I want to get rid off with a stiffer rear sway bar. Next on my list!!
Greetings to all Viggen folks!
Ulf
