This is the next track day that I want to go to. I think there are a number of us that want to do one with some saab people. this would be a fun one. I am going on here on Oct 9-10. these things close out fast. If you want to go you need to send money within 2 week I would think. I am not sure I will go to this one but if you guys go I will to! This is the Email I just got. For those of you that have not been to one of these the cost is $240 for the 2 days.

Registration is now open for the December 11-12 Drivers Ed at Carolinas Motorsports Park!!
Get ready for some fun building your driving skills on this technically challenging track.
All registrations are being taken directly online. Go to the Carolinas Region Website at carolinapca . Click on "Drivers Ed Events" and scroll down to " December " to be directed to the instructions and application form. Everything you need to know is there. For those of you who are new (and for the rest of you for that matter), PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!! As a reminder, when you hit the submit button, you will get a confirmation page showing what you just entered. Just print that out, sign it, and mail it with your check. This is an automatic confirmation stating we have you in the system.
We can't emphasize this enough…. Drivers' education events are very popular. And these events sell out VERY QUICKLY especially in the beginner run groups so sign up AND GET YOUR CHECK IN IMMEDIATELY!!! Deadline for application is November 27, 2004 but the event will be full long before that, especially for the beginning groups. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis BASED ON RECEIPT OF YOUR CHECK.. Run groups will be limited to 25 cars per group. So, just because you sign up early, does not mean you will get in. You will be waitlisted until we get your check, so send it in immediately.
Qualified instructors can participate FREE if you sign up early. See the instructions. If you have enough experience but have never instructed, contact Dick Lane, our chief instructor or, tell us about your experience on the application. As is normal, our event headquarters will be the Best Western in Lugoff, SC. The Best Western has blocked a limited number of rooms for us at $59.00 plus tax per night. When calling, please specify that you are with the Carolina Porsche Group (code CPG). The rate includes a free breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Please make your room reservations early as we are only able to block 50 rooms at this property. The Best Western is located on Hwy. 1, South in Lugoff SC. The phone number is 803-438-9441 or 1800 Western. The hotel is Best Western Camden West.
Registration packets will be emailed to accepted applicants approx. 30 days prior to the event, so please keep an eye on your email. We will also be posting a list of registrants on the website showing your status. (Go to Drivers Ed Events, December, and there will be a link there to show your status.) The package will include all the information you will need including, a map to the track, hotel and restaurant information, tech inspection and medical forms, car number assignment and, event rules.
