The new brackets have to be welded in place after the old ones are removed by carefully grinding their welds so as not to grind into the floor pan and then pry them loose without damaging the floor pan. The inside front early seat brackets are part of the emergency brake support so we cut them out leaving an opening in the stepped area for a 1/16" piece to be TIG welded in to the left and right factory tunnel reinforcement pieces for extra support much like the '91 up setup is. We'll be completing this '91 up interior upgrade on my '90 900 Aero week after next and will have step by step pictures with dimensions for the new brackets. The '91 up/passive seat belt brackets give much more rigidity to the floor pan as the front bracket is actually a long piece that ties the middle and sides of the floor together. The rear section of the center console is also different for the wider 9000 style '91 up 900 seats! Dave
