aftermarket wheels

Hello all,
I know this has probably been discussed before but i had a hard time finding it with the search feature. I was wondering if someone could give me the low down on what aftermarket wheels they have on a C900, specifically pre-88 bolt pattern. I have found a few styles that i really like but am nervous about fitment. I know the spg wheels are 16x6.5 but can you go up to 17x7's without fender rub? If not will 16x7's work? I really want to go with the 17's. Obviously offset is going to be an issue. Will a 40 offset work with 7 inch wide wheels or are spacers required? Any thoughts are appreciated. Next, I just want to make sure i understand correctly that the widest tire you can put on a c900 is a 205. I figure if i go with the 17's i would want 205/40's unless i can go wider. With the 40's i think i calculated the speedometer function should stay about the same. Just a silly side note but the tires i have now are Michelen X one's. My dad has a set on his Taurus and they are great in all conditions, but on the stiff suspension of a 900 they dont work so well in the wet. I have had them let lose a few times. Anyway if anybody has any pics of aftermarket wheels on a 900 they can post or email to me that would be great as well. thanks in advance!
