...and the gauge is all screwy.
when i release the gas, the gauge dows right down into the most leanest LED there is, and even goes out sometimes...
When I step on the gas, the gauge goes up into the early rich areas and stays there, until i let of the gas and it goes back down to dead lean.
If im cruising, the gauge constantly sweeps all over the place, quickly.
I tapped into the ECU harness right at the pin pretty much, safely though, i didn't disturb anything at all and i can remove the wire i put in there and it won't mess up anything.
guage power and ground should be ok.
When i start the car, the gauge sits in the stoich area, and as the car warms up more it travels around little by little until it's fully sweeping... and at idle it sweeps all over the place, from super lean, then up to rich, and back to lean...
...as the gaueg sweeps, my engine sounds like it runs differently...
the gauge will be lean, and the engine sounds one way, then it goes up to rich as the engine sounds differently...
As to what wire i tapped into, i'm pretty positive that pin 24 is the signal wire from the O2 sensor....
