Hi Nick, the TE05 Mitsubishi is a great turbo for spool up and the larger intercooler ducting is a real good modification. The '90 ECU however won't work in you '87, it's an LH 2.4 where your '87 is LH 2.2 that was used through '88. That '93 9000 is the best head to use, it's the same casting as the '91-'93 2.1 non-turbo 900. The 2.1 900 intake manifold will of course match the larger intake ports but your '88 intake will bolt up and work otherwise. If you do go to a 2.1 intake get the fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator bracket and hose as well! The CSE injectors would be a good upgrade for you but if you did use a 2.1 intake etc. you would have to purchase a 2.5 bar (0 280 160 704) Bosch fuel pressure regulator to work with the larger 33lbs per hour injectors. You would also have to set your air mass meter back to around 225 ohms. Other necessary mods would be an APC upgrade and either one of our Advanced Ignition Diaphragms or an MSD BTM to correct the timing retard curve and limit problem. A 3" exhaust system would be great but they're expensive. My '90 900T (Euro Aero) came with the TE05 turbo and the only thing I've added so far is one of our Stage II 3" exhausts and with the little 12G turbo there's practically no turbo lag at all! Sorry for the long message but I just wanted you to know what all you could use from the cars you have available. Take care, Dave
