In an attempt to gain more boost in my saab and less detonation in the viper, a person on the viper board had me try this. http://www.need4speedpower.com/torco.html I live in Ca where octane in 91. Some of you have heard of this, some have not I guess. So I decided to dump it in the saab first, and the outcome is unbelievable. Although I have a stock turbo, I can now run 21 lbs of boost all day. Going up hill on the freeway for about 2 miles, ave speed about 95, temp outside 73- no apc kickback at all. Before the car would get kick back about 1\4 mile into the run at 18. On the viper is another story. With the tuning software we have we were able to achieve an extra 32 HP on the dyno with a\f ratio of 11.8 at 5700 rpm. I know all the mumbo jumbo on how this stuff can be bad for plugs, O2's but what the hell. It's a little expensive, but for all you racers, try it.
God knows what's in it, and I do not use it all the time because of the price. I have no idea if what they claim octane wise is true or not. All I know is that I have run race gas in the saab and it almost feels the same, or had the same outcome.
