Andy,
Thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about it too. I have my stereo in the top DIN slot and I have 3 gauges going in the lower dash (oil temp, oil press, outside temp), and I find that in my friend's SPG at least, it's hard, at least for me, to look down at the lower dash, focus, look up, and refocus. I want a boost gauge and AF in addition, and I thought that the a-pillar might be a little better for visibility. At the very least, I'd like to put them to my left, above the headlight switch, since I consider that dead space, I actually use the little dashtop space for CDs etc, and my head unit is front and center. I wouldn't mind having gauges in the top and lower DIN spots, but then where would my Alpine go?? I suppose the top-of-the-dash solution isn't so bad, but aesthetically, it doesn't seem that pleasing... Ah well, I'll see what I can think up. Thanks,
Ram
