Same thing i'm trying to do, here's what i know Posted by Ryan [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: How to get >or=16" tires on 86 SPG..How much$ and where?, Jack Crawford, Fri, 6 Apr 2001 13:46:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
From what i've been told, the 4x114.3 bolt pattern isn't all that rare. It's actually fairly common, but what makes finding wheels tough is getting the right offset, and the center hole size. (i've been told that it is 65, can anyone verify this?)
How i'm approaching the wheel search how, is looking for wheels with the bolt pattern in a 17x7 formatt. GM just got a 18x7, and said it's no problem in the rubbing department. His offset os also 35mm, so i would shoot for something like that. (i keep finding 40 offset in that size but i'm afraid this will rub.) Once i find them, hopefully the center hole is close, so i just need a small spacer or can have it bored out just a little bit.
