You really don't need to go a 16 or 17...find yourself a lightweight 15's that are at least 6.5 inches wide and put 205/55 or 205/50 high performance tire. Some people will cry about sidewall, but frankly flex is more a function of how the tire is constructed then actual height. If you are looking for street performance, having a little more tire height will help when things get choppy around bumps and there is rarely a (performance0 need to go any larger then clearing your brakes.
Check out http://www.teamdynamicsusa.com, I'm not sure if they make for the older bolt pattern or not.
