Engine is leaky and losing power...

The car: 94 9000 Aero Imola Red
Can any of you guys point me in the right direction? I've considered having the engine rebuilt, but I'm thinking I could get a reman or later model used with low miles for less. Mine currently has 192Kmi on it and has begun to spring some nastly leaks around the head and who knows where else. My driveway has become a huge drip pan. Unacceptable. Thought about having the head gasket done, but then there's the timing chain, and possibly do the top end while they're in there. It's starting to add up. So these seem to be my choices (feel free to add to this list):
BTW... I love the car and don't really wanna give it up for something else.
1 Overhaul mine
2 Buy used
3 Buy reman
If I buy a used one, I'm assuming I could use a 97 engine in my 94?
If I am able to get the engine redone, It'll go to paint shortly thereafter.
TIA guys
