I have these eproms for my 1991 9000T and the rpm. The 30 lb/hr injectors in the 91 can easily handle all the additional boost by providing adaquate fuel so it won't lean out, and if it does, the car has protection for that. The higher altitude, will be an added buffer for this. I put the chip in at 138,000 miles and just sold it with 180,000 miles and never have had any problem with it. It was by far the best 350$ I ever spent on the car. My Indy said it was the only saab he ever got a speeding ticket in. If you are tired of the car boosting and backing off and boosting and backing off around the yellow/red hash marks (which is normal for a stock 91) then get the chip and watch the needle go off the end of the red and stay there, My 91 is still the quickest saab I've owned, and that beats the Viggen I owned, my 9-5 Aero SW, and my present 95 9K Aero.(which is soon to get an upgrade). Enjoy, 91's make great sleepers with their low gear ratio's and quick spool turbo's.
