I'll gladly put my Viggen up for a run on a dyno if someone can find one in the L.A. - Long Beach area and wants to pay for it.
That way we can see whether they provided the expected results on my specific car.
All I know is, the nay-sayers on this board have not tried the chip.
Every single buyer (admittedly there are only a handful on Saabnet) has been very positive.
There is even one Saabnet user who has powerchips in both his Saabs.
For the money, and without having to go through complicated hardware upgrades, the chip gives a great result.
Not everyone wants to turn their Saab into a racecar running on 100+ octane, with upgraded clutch, 3"downpipe, intercooler, custom turbo, bracing, shocks, etc.....
This is NOT an upgrade for people who think Stage 3 is a starting point.
But it is a painless and fun performance upgrade for those of us who use their vehicle as a daily driver and want to get a bit more fun out of it.
I only mentioned Powerchip, because typically wagon drivers do not turn their cars into dragsters.
Just my 2 cents as a happy Powerchip user.
