The 2.1 N/A C-900 heads are 911935, same head as a '91 through early '93 9000 N/A or turbo. I don't know the '94 up "short" head part numbers by heart however those heads would be obvious because or the recessed (below the valve cover) timing chain area. We have recently converted 2 short heads for C-900's! One of them we even converted to fit the stock motor mount brace rather than modifying the mount like Damien is doing. As time consuming as that last one was I decided next time I'll just graft an early timing cover area to the late head using an early block as a jig. If you go this route remember that the '94 up heads are .036" thinner so the cams come out 10 crankshaft degrees retarded. To correct this you can either use '94 up cams (with early sprockets!!!) or go to an adjustable early cam sprocket like Damien's. Others have modified the C-900 timing covers rather than the head for this conversion but you still wouldn't have the mounting bosses on the head for accessories or the motor mount brace. When time permits I'll do one with the grafting method especially because we can match the .036" thicker timing chain area to match the late head. If you would like pictures of either method shoot me an email and I'll send them. Dave
