I have a 93 Aero and I love it. I would stay away from the auto though. I have had no problems with TCS at all and it is really of no concern to me. The car is very fast. Jak is correct though, if you are interested in chip tuning the car, 93 is not your year. Maptun is the only way to go I believe.
My car is also cranky until it warms up in the morning, seems to be normal. I have a Forge bypass valve, a flowmaster exhaust, and an optiflow intake. Other than that, the car is stock.
As for problems, the only issues I have had are troubles passing emissions test, but a new O2 sensor seems to have fixed that. Also I had to replace the climate control unit. The passenger seat also has a broken cable, but from what I read that is not a difficult or expensive fix. Overall, I spend much less time working on the car than I did on my 900 turbos.
60k means this car has plenty of life left. I paid 5 g's for mine with 90k on it and I consider it a total steal of a deal.
Best of luck and enjoy!
Chris M
