Hope all's going well with your project!
The 3 components that you make reference to are lock plates which are intended to keep the 6 turbine housing retaining bolts from backing out under thermal expansion. The plates will be installed under the turbine hardware/bolts and then bent upward to meet the bolt's 13mm hex head.
This might be visible on the exploded view of the T3 turbocharger which is normally included with these kits but your OEM T3 turbocharger should have had such lock plates installed from the GARRETT factory on all 1983-1989 900 T3 turbochargers...although we have seen a good number of early turbochargers wherein these lockplates have deteriorated/rusted completely off of the assemblies.
