What type of track do you run? We run a classic 900 on a 1/2 mile asphault with a 30 degree bank.
As for your question. In 2003 we ran a 2.1 16v na in an enduro class at
I70 speedway. After the season was over we dynoed it. It make 140hp at the wheel on a Dyno Jet 248. We had installed the piston backward, pocket ported the cylinder head, milled about 0.055 of an inch off the cylinder head, used 1986 LH fuel injection and a Swedish Dynamics Turbo red series intake cam. We use the 2.1 exhaust manifold with a 2.5in exhaust system, 3" is too large for power. We used 24 pound injectorsand the engine was a little too rich. These engine like to run about 13.5 to 13.9 air fuel ratio for top end power The cam shaft moved the power up the scale very well.
As for programing the ECU Jak Stall might be able to help get you a higher rev limit. As for the cam one of my mechanics had Crane grind him a special grind for high rpm it worked well. You might check with them.
Keep in touch.
Brad
