ha... that's second creek racetrack. I know it quite well. Too bad this is the last year for it.

Also folks might want to check out the rmsolo SCCA link on that page. Time Trials are this year at multiple tracks.. hooray... There are to be two drivers classes this year and the cost is more like $80. The classes aren't bad, but mostly are about safety, flags, safe passing, and how to corner work. 1/2 the day though is pretty much driving around the track with a local racer giving you tips on best lines and techniques, so it's somewhat informative.. To do the Time Trials though, you do need to be a SCCA member, have some high speed events or 6? solo II events experience, and buy some safety equipment (arm restraints, helmet for stock classes).

I'm actually the "2002 Rocky Mountain Region G-Stock Time Trials Champion" (what a mouthfull), driving my unmolested '00 Monte Carlo 5-dr Viggen...
