I removed the SD fuel chip this afternoon and swapped it with the original fuel chip. The highest boost in the first 15 miles of driving was 17. That is the same level that I reached when the fuel chip was installed.
I definitely understand that I need to give the DI chip time to recalibrate. The boost levels could still rise significantly.

In a trouble-shooting episode, I removed and evaluated one of the pressurized induction hoses that looked suspect, but it tested to be good.
I'll post again after a few days of driving to report any changes I notice. . . unless the boost returns earlier =)
