installed my e-bay intercooler this weekend. i now have 2.5" stainless steel from the turbo to throttle body . it is unbelievable what it has done to intake temps. granted i am driving around without a front bumper but after an hour of some spirited driving, the intercooler pipes within the engine bay are ice cold. tomorrow the car will be tuned on a dyno by frank so perhaps i will be able to lend some insight on the hardware only upgrade debate. i have stage III SQR presently and will going to stage III.75 +/- tomorrow. will do baseline before tuning and a final result after tuning is complete. seat of the pants tells me that the intercooler, k&n filter and new delivery pipe have definately increased horsepower but i'm so happy right now about getting my car dyno tuned tomorrow that i could have 200hp and wouldn't notice.
