I like the idea, opensource anything is cool when you can get a collection of people to contribute code or whatever to create a porgram. But the concept of a group buy does not seem to work, I have yet to see or hear of a Quaife in a C900 among the many other things that have been proposed on this board. If we could get a community of software developers to help out maybe it could get done but it seems anyone who takes the time to reverse engineer LH or T5-7 is attempting to make a profit, and you cant blame them.
So maybe we should start with...
How many programmers/software engineers post to this board?
Who has access to the information and hardware needed to crack T5 or T7?
Once we can answer these questions maybe we will get somewhere.
I know C/C++ and some VB and I am working on assembly language I also have access to lots of Saab parts i.e. ECU's etc. during the summer sooooo... maybe we can get the ball rolling.
Or Not!
