the cores are almost identical Posted by jak [Email] (#195) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jak) on Wed, 16 Mar 2005 06:27:21 In Reply to: INTERCOOLERS Volvo 760 VS Saab 9000, JordanP, Wed, 16 Mar 2005 06:11:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
the volvo core is slightly larger but probably not a noticeable diference
have you considered putting in a starion IC it will be easier to fit than either of the other 2 & flows about the same the one I used was a 2 row so even though it was 2.5 inch thick it was realy a 2 inch core, I have seen them with true 2.5 inch cores & that would be better than either the volvo or 9K units
when Ive seen instals of the 9KIC you end up moving the oil cooler & doing allot of cutting the volvo unit is biger & I think someone put one if those in but had it hanging down pretty low but I think dident do much cutting but the hoses were under the radiator suport in my opinion too low
hope that helpl some
take care
