After doing some searching I'm pretty sure my Viggen has a cracked piston...oil throught the filler cap and all over the engine bay. My question is....how do I go about fixing the car the right way? Meaning what kind of pistons should I get.

Not knowing the extent of the damage yet, I'm not sure what is going to be needed. I may try to get a B235 engine for parts or to reuse the block.. but I see a long road ahead accumulating parts.

The car is still in my driveway but I am planning on getting it to a dealer in Portland for diagnostics, to be on the record with SAAB. I then plan on getting the car somewhere else (Portland or Seattle) for the rest of the rebuild. I am open for suggestions on good indies.

Any help is appreciated.
