Like jak said, its probably as much the small turbo as the APC.
However, if it were the apc: "F" is the high-rpm boost, so raise that. If you raise "P" too much, you'll get a huge spike at 3krpm. I've found that a reasonably low P, and high F will give me smooth torque and high rpm power, that will not slip my OEM clutch. That boost/torque spike at 3k can cause the clutch to rip free easily with an OEM fuel/timing system.
Do your tweaking with a mulimeter on the back side of the POT, this will give you a point of reference. P is in the 25-30 Kohm range, F is the 200-500 ohm range.
