How does a BPV or BOV "beat the crap out of an IC?" and what does that mean?
Weather the a piston slamming shut or a diaphragm slamming shut...how can that be of any siginifcant difference? Clamping power of the valve holds boost pressure from being bypassed. If anything, the weight of a piston moving would be slower than that of a diaphragm. Diaphragm valve are still considered to be wuicker reacting but you have to deal with the tearing or leaking effects of a diaphragm. Forge has some new promise for the diaphragm valve with their new diaphragm "that won't tear." so they say. And it is adjustable which again offers hope to being able to dial it in correctly = just the right amount of clamping pressure without leaking...
I would love to hear the longer explanation of this, because the short version doesn't make sense.
