hi scott,
i hope you are enjoying your 9-5 aero..they are pretty good right out of the box, but, if you're like me, you will want to improve anything and everything. unfortunately modding 9-5's does not come cheap so you may want to think about getting a part time job to support your habit. T7 is complicated, and as many have stated on the 9-5 board, good software is essential. i would go with any one of these three tuners; maptun, nordic or sqr and feel confident that my engine would stay together. i presently have sqr software and am at about 300 hp (crank) with the following mods; remus 2.5" exhaust, bsr 3" downpipe, open k&n filter, front mounted intercooler, 2.5" intercooler piping and delivery pipe, koni/eibach suspension (in progress) on my 2000 aero. if you aren't into wrenching i would give a call to paul at automotion in billerica to help you out. unfortunately my 9-5 does not feel as "dramatic" in the lower gears as my older modded saabs 97 aero and 92 9000 but i'm sure at top end would prove to be superior. if you have ever driven an older 91-92 9000 you will know what i mean. take a look at my mods under the "saab" album to get one idea what can be done.
