T7 will not work with any form of MBC. A SMBC can be interesting, with the biggest improvement for manual transmissions.
Braking performance is limited by the tires, so don't expect much more than a change in petal feel. If you are doing repeated agresive stops and track work, then the heat is a limiting factor and track pads are needed, but they can have poor performance when cold and are not good for the street. You have good brakes now. If you want to stop faster, you need tires with more grip.
You are refering to the steering rack clamp. The point of this is to eliminate the stupid mass of rubber that the rack is mounted in. Steel or aluminum... does not matter, solves the problem. There are three other rubber bushings to replace in the front end. And subframe braces. So the solution is highly dependant on your budget. But in the end, the handling can really be transformed and the ride is not affected in any negative fashion.
There are two FMICs to choose from. Again, price is a good guide and allows for other $$$ to be applied to other things beneficial. Reports of the MPP FMIC on a Viggen indicated good results.
The downpipe can be upgraded, but smog stations might be looking for the OEM two cat converter unit. And you can't replace a OEM cat that is working well until a certain point, 50?80 Kmiles.
There has been some debate about intake and exhaust mods leading to lean AF on stock ECU software. I really don't know what to thing of that.
