I intend to put the hanger mount on in front of the cat
no other aftermarket 9-5DP Ive seen has a flex before the cat but definatly after the hanger you mentioned
this downpipe is verry similar to the 9-3 DP except what is after the cat infact there is about the same rigid between the turbo & first flexpipe on the 9-3 as ther is with the 9-5 as far as the aftermarket goes
so although I agree the best possible way would be to put a flex there for some reason industry standard on the 9-3 & 9-5 pipe is not to
Ill try it on a customers car before shiping it
there should definatly be one after the hanger though so I advise one be put there as this one is getting a custom 3 inch catback built onto it
the JTSS 9-3 full 3 inch system has no flex at all in it which definatly is a realy bad idea
the hanger mounts rearward of the cat on the 9-5 seem to have about the same movenent as the 9-3? dosent realy seem any more rigid to me? so Im not sure I follow you on that one
I do apriciate your input though on the flex & I did spend some time thinking on that one
nothing good to say though? oh well....
