The car starts harder when cold, idles rougher, power band is not very smooth and I can constantly feel the car cutting power due to the over straining of stock hardware components. B235R engines are already maxed out in terms of the stock hardware. When you add any stage 1 program you are pushing the EGT's and intake temps too high which can and does lead to knock under certain situations. I've come to the conclusion that if you want to increase power safely with software, the downpipe/cat and intercooler need to be upgraded. Some might disagree with me here but this is my conclusion.

Again though I need to stress that you guys have completely different setups and I have no idea if this applies to your cars or not.
