Let me tell you though, it is a real love - hate relationship with that car. Since I refuse to cut corners, the thing just drives me crazy trying to get the right fit, for which nothing ever does fit. It always needs to be tweaked some how. For example, the other night I was trying to get the alternator in, using a newer model of course. The thing would not go in and the upper bolt is nearly impossible to get to. Its like a Chinese puzzle that has to be done in a very specific sequence for which the directions are written in Latin. Finally got it installed but my shoulder was killer me from hoisting than alternator up and down. When the car is done, I will have a swap meet for left over rebuilt / performance parts that went unused.

As far as the pic of the turbo, let me give you a litte tour, my friends. Behind the turbo, you can see some silver tubes running along the engine block to the water pump - these are water cooling lines. The line coming out of the center of the turbo is the oil feed line. The nipple in the middle of the exhaus manifold collector is the EGT sensor nipple. There was another one in the wrong position so I cut that off and welded this one on instead. The stainless braided line coming under the turbo is one of two water cooling lines for the turbo. You can also see (just barely) two O2 ports, one for the regular O2 sensor and one for the wideband O2 sensor. One looks like the evil eye because I had to remake the outlet from the wastegate because the downpipe was not fitting correctly. The downpipe is actually off of Frank's (SQR) race car from last year. I cut it off where there is not an O2 bung and re-welded it on the curved section of the downpipe. In the back of the pic, you can also see the poly transmission mount. On the bottom of the exhaust manifold, you can also see the ARP 12 point exhaust stud kit replacing the stock units. You can see the 4" silicone 45 degree hose for the intake. I will post of pic of the intake piping as it is also really nice. What you cannot see directly behind the turbo is this really cool oil pressure/temperature manifold that I made to house the two sensors for the gauges (temp & pressure) that is directly tapped into the oil feed line for the turbo. This way you will know right away whether your turbo has oil pressure. No pressure, no run car.

I have a lot more pics but I am spending all my time working, not posting.
