i was looking around MPPerformance last night and noticed that there are actually 2 smbc's but only one is pictured in the 9-3 catagory eventhough the other one says it is also for t-7 engines. i have an 01 9-3 can anyone tell me which one is the right one or if they both are...the advantages to the $80 one vs $26
Applicable to both the T-5 and T-7 engines The SMBC uses the same boost controller as the MBC but is made without a bleed port to allow it to be installed in series between the turbo and the boost pressure control unit. For those who don’t want to bypass the cars control unit, but would like to increase spool up time, or for cars that won’t tolerate a traditional install of a MBC due to advanced electronics in the car (T-7)
