Blow-off valve for 8v turbo

I'm going to put a Forge Dump valve into my Saab 900 8v turbo. I have installed a front mounted intercooler and a "3 inch exhaust. Because there isn't an original dump valve in my car it's going to be wielded on the intake just in front of the intake manifold.
I need to connect a vacum hose to the dump valve. Is it okay to connect to the vacum hose for the boost pressure gauge? If not which vacum hose should I use?
Sorry for any spelling errors!!!!
Thanks for a great messageboard.
Icelandic Saab fanatic.
