brad said he has broken rod bolts at around 7KRPM but frank stromqvist seems the engine is totaly safe at 7KRPM
I think it would be a good idea to put in some stronger rod bolts ifyou were to run it that fast for any lenth of time
you dont need a cam or lightened flywheel to spinn more RPMs but solid lifters would be a good idea just to lighten the valve train & keep float down
a biger turbo would move the air at higher RPMs & then there would be fueling & all the other hardware to make the engine efficient at higher RPMs
the only rev limit is in the ECU Ive had my car up to 7500RPM+ changing the ECU programming & never had the ignition quit up there at all
